Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-orientated Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will support pharmaceutical operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company procedures. Experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist with the preparation, dispensing, packing and labelling of pharmaceutical products under the supervision of a Responsible Pharmacist.
– Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
– Assist with stock control activities, including receiving, storing, issuing and reconciling inventory.
– Ensure products are stored under appropriate conditions and monitor storage requirements.
– Support quality assurance and quality control processes where required.
– Assist with batch documentation review and filing.
– Participate in stock counts and inventory audits.
– Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP), and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
– Assist with product recalls, returns, and destruction processes when required.
– Report deviations, non-conformances and quality concerns to management.
– Support regulatory compliance activities and regulatory inspections.

Minimum Requirements:
– Registered as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
– Relevant Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification.
– Good understanding of Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) and pharmaceutical regulations.
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment will be advantageous.
